The “low-carbon” strategy

Goyer is placed among the European leaders of the facade; as such, we owe it to ourselves to innovate, to bring new solutions to our partner-customers, and to be not only efficient but also exemplary.
The envelope plays an important role in controlling the energy consumption of buildings, energy sobriety objectives that may conflict with architectural wishes or user comfort criteria (eg natural light).
The facades of tertiary buildings are mainly made of glass and aluminum; these materials, which mobilize a large share of energy and primary resources, also have significant recycling potential.
Goyer, being a player in the entire value chain from design to implementation, has the ability to provide solutions and measure their impacts to develop facades combining energy performance, reduced carbon impact and controlled costs.

Axis 3 : Maintain a watch and be proactive	Launch one R&D project per year Monitor the R&D budget for projects reducing the carbon footprint	Goyer intends to call for projects with other players (service providers, suppliers or others) for the development of an “ideal facade” (balance between energy performance and natural light, reversibility, ease of reuse / deconstruction, etc).
